What are your websites?
Wine Country Geographic publishes a variety of web site for wine lovers.
Our first site is Biodynamic Wines & Vines (bd.wine).
Organically Sonoma and Organically Napa will launch in Feb. of 2020, followed by Organically Oregon and Organically Central Coast.
Each site costs $25 a year for a one year subscription.
Each site also features winery offers (two for one tastings) and discounts (on wine or shipping) that offset the cost of the subscription.
When was Wine Country Geographic founded?
The company was founded in 2011. At first we published three apps on organically grown wines. They were written on a now discontinued app platform (SutroMedia) and were no longer available after Sutromedia disbanded in 2013.
Why do you publish regional websites instead of one great big website?
After our apps went off the market, we tried to create one site to rule them all, but kept running out of money.
After awhile, we decided that we actually preferred the regional approach as ties organic to great , well known wine regions and helped some people get over their misconceptions about organically grown wines as a supermarket wine category.
We also wanted to appeal to wine tourists as well as wine lovers who know and love these regions but may not have known the organic side of each.

We provide wine advice on U.S. organic and biodynamic wines and selected imported wines from certified organic or biodynamic vines.
I'm planning a trip and would like to visit some wineries with organic vines. Can you help?
Yes, we offer trip planning services for $75 an hour. Contact us to set up a time.
We have personally visited about 95% of the organic and biodynamic producers in the U.S. and can recommend wineries for you to consider visiting.
Typically, we interview you on the phone for about 15 minutes to hear about your interests and then come up with a list of recommended wineries. We then have a followup call with you to review the list.
I'd like to go on a guided trip to visit wineries with organically grown vines. Can you help?
Yes, we do. We have helped a number of visitors visit organic destination wineries. Contact us to set up a trip planning call ($75 an hour) as a first step.
My restaurant (or wine bar or wine shop) would like to include more organic or bd wine options.
We can help you diversify your selections to include eco-certified wines that are equivalent in price point and quality to your current selections.
